Getting ready with nowhere to go. I don’t mind that much. To me, it’s creative getting ready. A time where I can process thoughts and feelings while self expressing, or a storytelling time, or portraying a visual character. Maybe one or more. What you might see is just the mascara, blush, or clothes. It’s an experience too, subtle or pronounced, like artistically drawn with an eyeliner pencil.
